Have you ever noticed how Word tries to be 'helpful' if you start to type a numbered list?

Word takes over and changes the formatting

The same happens if you type an email or website address - Word turns it into a blue underlined hyperlink.

If you don't like this interference from Word do this:

1.  Click on

word-file

2. Select options(down the left hand side)

3.  In the left list click proofing

4. At the top right click autocorrect-options

5. On the window that pops up click the tab entitled AutoFormat As You Type so you see this...

6. Remove the ticks as shown above and then click the OK button (click OK again after that)
