Although just to confuse the matter this hoax email is based on some half truths.

Although the Postcard virus was a real threat (click here for similar threats), it is not accurate to say a "HUGE VIRUS COMING" as it has already been around in multiple forms for a long time now.

This virus has never been reported to "burn the whole hard disc" of your computer.

CNN has not classified it as the "worst virus" ever, and it doesn't arrive in messages bearing a subject line of 'Invitation.'

The text of the hoax email begins as follows:

Hi All, I checked with Norton Anti-Virus, and they are gearing up for this virus! I checked Snopes (URL above:), and it is for real!!...
