Take a look at this example part of a spreadsheet...
How can you instantly see where all the formulas are? You could try clicking on each cell with a number in it and then look in the formula bar at the top.
This could be a laborious process - especially if it's a spreadsheet you have inherited.
However there is a much simpler way...
Whilst holding down the Ctrl key just hit the ` key (This key is usually found left of 1 and underneath the Esc key)
So you will now see this section of the spreadsheet looks like this...
You can instantly see all the formulas in the spreadsheet.
How do I put it back to the 'normal' view?
Just do Ctrl+` again and it will toggle back to the 'Normal' view (hiding the formulas and show you the results again).
What about Excel on my Mac?
Use a combination of the ⌃ and ` keys
