If you have an Xmail Account it includes a service called Spam Manager that safely removes:
- Unsolicited emails (SPAM)
- Spoof emails trying to get you to login to your Bank (phishing)
- Emails with known viruses
...before it even gets delivered to you!
How does it work?
Any obvious SPAM is trapped and held in the Junk quarantine before it is delivered to you. You will occasionally receive an email report showing you a summary of trapped SPAM.
When SPAM is blocked you will receive a notification email from Spam Manager that looks something like this...
If you are certain that every email in your report is definite SPAM, you don't need to do anything. You can delete the email notification and those SPAM messages will be automatically deleted from quarantine after 14 days without ever being delivered to you.
However if you are not certain it is all SPAM - or you just want to check what's left in quarantine - click the link in the email to login to your Spam Manager. It should look like this...
Type in the password you chose when you first activated your Spam Manager Account and click the Login button. You should be taken to your Spam Manager Summary list that looks something like this:
If you can see a message is NOT Junk tick the tickbox on the left thant click the Release button in the header or footer. This will instantly deliver the email and mark it with a curly arrow.
If all the emails you see are definitely all Junk (and you are absolutely certain) then you can click the Delete All button (didn't that feel good?)
This service is only available to people hosting their email with easykey. Are you interested? Want to move your email to Easykey?
